but even if there were, it is already too late for you. unexamined issues from your male life will prevent you even from being a simulcra of a woman who was born female. issues like male entitlement. insensitivity to women. your need to talk down or talk over women. your male pride. socialisation is what fucked you over. had you only ever been in contact with women your entire life, the situation may be different. but every male in your life, from your father, to your brother, to your grandpappy and your uncle. to your friends at school. your male teachers. all of that fucked over your brain, and made you into a man. your manliness wafts off you like a vapour. you have Male Gaze from staring at women’s bodies all your life. you have male tension. in essence, you give off a vibe. the vibe of a man. sorry to dash your hopes like that.
but you are determined to express something called “gender” aren’t you? It won’t be enough for you to bend gender, like David Bowie, or Prince or even your run-of-the-mill dragqueen. they all qualify as transgender, due to the fact that they cross perceived gender lines. you are far more unique and special. you don’t want to be a genderbender. so you will take hormones in an attempt to add some kind of medical validation to your crossdressing habits. then you will have to decide how much money to throw away at changing your body in an attempt to appear more female. and it will all be artificial. your breast implants. your lip filler. your shaved adam’s apple.
you could claim you are transsexual. but transsexuals, real ones, have only one desire, which is to keep working on transition until they mainstream as a passable female. you will live your life in stealth and you will love what you did to your body and all the work you put into psychological passing, because each day of your life, you are unquestionably a woman.
real transsexuals don’t need gender therapy because they know gender is all an act. they are eligible right away for sex reassignment surgery, because it is their sex they are reassigning, not gender.
all true transsexuals crave to be as close to anatomically female as possible, and that means SRS is mandatory. all true transsexxuals want only one thing, which is to pass among women as though they had been born one. true transsexuals are not “out” about being transsexual, because that defeats the point of mainstreaming as a woman.

from your gender therapist, you will request something called a “dressups permit”. these are your validation papers, so keep them close at hand as a ready explanation for what comes next.
